High Voltage Partial Discharge Ltd (HVPD) are industry leading experts in the market of On-Line Partial Discharge (PD) test and monitoring technology for complete medium and high voltage power networks. We design and build a range of electrical condition monitoring technology and provide solutions to a diverse range of markets including; Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Heavy Industry across a pan-global client base. Over the years, our technology and international export records have been recognised through the accreditation of Queens Awards for Enterprise, most recently winning the Queens Awards for Enterprise in International Trade for a second time. HVPD also holds several International Patents. Our company has an ambitious growth plan and it is an exciting time to join our team. To add to our Head Office in Manchester, UK, we also have worldwide offices in China, Abu Dhabi, North America, and Australia. To further support our customers in the Middle East and develop new business, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Middle East sales strategy. We are looking for someone from an engineering background with extensive commercial experience in building and growing customer relationships, that is interested in joining a team that works with technically interesting condition monitoring equipment. Location: Office in Abu Dhabi, UAE & opportunity to work from home

Salary:AED17,000.00 AED23,000.00 per month
Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
  • Building and converting a sales pipeline from existing and new clients
  • Commercial Account Management of specified Middle East customers
  • Liaising and building relationships & rapport with new and existing customers
  • Identifying and following through new opportunities
  • Attending customer meetings, technical sales presentations and on-site customer product demonstrations
  • Ensuring business growth by achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Responsible for both inbound enquiries and developing new business
  • Working with the Global Commercial Manager and Marketing team to devise regional specific targeted campaigns to generate leads
  • Management of engineering resource to fulfil service work in the Middle East
  • Providing input for regional budgets and product and service forecasts
  • Representing the company at industry conferences and exhibitions within the Middle East
  • Regular reporting on sales activity and pipeline
The role will be based at our office in Abu Dhabi, with occasional working from home. The role will require ~30% travel throughout the Middle East. Full product training will be provided.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven sales track record, minimum 10 years
  • Experience working in a similar industry for 10+ years
  • Previous experience dealing with project stakeholders; Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), EPCs and End Users/Operators
  • Strong management and communication skills, capable of making themselves understood by a wide range of people from a wide range of countries
  • Commercially astute with negotiation skills and experience of terms and conditions of supply
  • Be able to work both reactively and proactively in a busy and varied sales environment
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT
Desirable Skills
  • Previous experience in Condition Monitoring of assets and/or Partial Discharge
  • Experience of selling into Medium and High Voltage Electrical Power Network Customers
  • Experience of Salesforce (CRM)
